1) Who can benefit from House Calls?
What was once for the infirmed, house calls can be used by patients of all ages and for different health care needs. The visit can be performed in your home or place of employment.

3) What is a typical House Call visit like?
House calls are very similar to in-office medical care. The major differences are no wait times, no unnecessary exposure to germs, and no time must be spent traveling to and from visits.

4) What do House Calls cost?
A house call, when scheduled through the portal, is $300. This fee covers travel time to and from your home, time spent for the actual visit, and a follow-up phone call 48 hours later.

There are additional charges for any testing to be performed (see number 13).

Visits after hours and on weekends are subject to an additional charge of $200 (when available).

Many types of medical insurance plans may reimburse a partial amount, so you would need to check with your plan. DR4ALL Medical, LLC will supply you with documentation to submit to your individual plan.

5) What is required for a House Call?
It is highly recommended to have all your medications and supplements available for review. Any medical records you have should also be available for review. The area should be free of distractions. While we love pets, we ask that you have your pet(s) safely secured. When an appointment is made, we ask you to give us a 15-minute window either to show up earlier or later than scheduled, as traffic is always a variable.

6) Who provides care?
Currently, Dr. Ralph Messo is the sole provider.

7) What if Dr. Messo is away at a conference or vacation? Who will be available?
Dr. Messo will assign a comparable medical provider to oversee the care should that be necessary.

8) What if I get admitted to the hospital?
For the last 10-15 years, most hospitals have what is labeled as "Hospitalists". These are full-time physicians that only care for in-patients. You will be cared for by them. However, if you communicate to them that Dr. Messo is your primary care physician, that will allow them to discuss your care with Dr. Messo so that he is aware of your illness.

9) What if I need lab work, x-rays, or other testing?
DR4ALL Medical, LLC provides some Point of Care Testing. That is, Rapid Flu Testing, Rapid Strep Testing, Glucose Testing, and a few others. Any other testing will be your responsibility. Some services are offered in the home by testing services and we can furnish names should you require that.

10) How long will it take to schedule my first visit?
Scheduling and availability changes constantly depending on our patients' needs, so the timing of your first visit will vary. Currently, most house calls can be scheduled within 1 week. More urgent visits will be scheduled sooner.

11) What geographical areas are House Calls performed within?
Currently, we are serving Monmouth County, New Jersey. Any requests outside this area will be done on an individual basis and will incur an additional fee based on location.

12) What are your hours of operation?
Currently, our House Calls are done Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. We do not routinely schedule visits after hours but are available for patients who join the Concierge Membership. More information about memberships can be found here.

13) What if I have an emergency?
Our house calls are not an emergency service. If you ever experience a life-threatening emergency, you should call 911 immediately.
